Roggensee near Bad Schussenried

From the market square in Bad Schussenried, the path first leads past the town hall, then along the Bürgerpark to the Zellersee, Bad Schussenried's natural swimming pool. From there it goes on to the campus am Wald, where it is worth taking a look down at Bad Schussenried. After a short walk through a forest, the view over the Federsee basin to the buses opens up at the Hopferbacher Kreuz. At 767m, this is the second highest mountain in Upper Swabia. Now the path leads down to Hopferbach and up again on Wisenwege. On the way there are always beautiful views. Arrived at the edge of the forest, go straight to the "Drei-Länder-Stein" - the point where the districts of Ravensburg, Sigmaringen and Biberach meet. After a good kilometer, you will reach the south-western edge of the forest, the Atzenberger Höhe, which you can follow and enjoy some views as far as the Alps in good weather. Past the Toteisloch "Roggensee" it goes down to the starting point. (* Source: outdooractive )
