The route first leads along Klosterstrasse through the park of the former monastery with the baroque church and the baroque building of the "New Monastery". The designation "New Monastery" refers to the new baroque building of the monastery complex after 1752, with its light-flooded rococo library in the northern convent building. It is considered the most spectacular part of the monastery buildings. The closed bookcases are located on two floors.

Past the St. Martin cemetery, you will reach Olzreute. We continue to the hamlet of Lauhaus. There you turn right up to the viewpoint "Blasius Erler Bank". On a clear day, you have a wonderful view over the Olzreuter See to the entire Alpine chain from the Zugspitze to the Säntis. The further path on the hills of the terminal moraine also offers some fascinating views. The Alpine peaks can be easily identified on the panorama board above Kleinwinnaden. The trail leads to the wild and romantic origin of the Schussen - there you can take a break at the barbecue area. The starting point is reached again along the Schussen and finally through the glacier garden with its impressive boulders.
